Animal Crossing Halloween
Like everyone in the world right now - I am obsessed with Animal Crossing. It is wholesome, it is cute, and you feel accomplished because you can actually pay off a home loan. But right now, more important than anything, is the Halloween update; and because I am simultaneously buried in and avoiding my uni work, here are some cute things about the halloween update that a lot of people probably knew about a month ago. ππ»π

PUMPKINS!!
Pumpkin starters are only available during the month of October, so build your pumpkin patch fast - if my pumpkins disappear in the next update I will cry. With pumpkins you can create halloween decorations, themed furniture, or just eat them. They also sell for a much higher price at Nookβs Cranny since they arenβt the native fruit of your island.
COSTUMES!!
The Able Sisters start selling halloween costumes along with their regular line - items like witches hats, ball gowns, and all sorts of odds and ends for you to craft into your unique costumes. Islanders will also gift you costumes and recipes the more you talk to them, as well as Nook Miles being redeemed for different skin tones and hair colours.
Letβs not forget the others who join in the fun - because what is cuter than animals in their own little hats!!
In short ~ I have spent a lot of time on Animal Crossing, definitely have a problem, and am not planning to stop. My brain needs dopamine and cute animals in witches hats definitely help.
I also have a lot of screenshots that I need to share - I am so proud of my island.
